When I read the title, the first thing that came to mind was a .22...

I don't think it would help much with that one.

Ouch is right!

The cats have laid on my vehicles for the last 20 years and I haven't seen one sign of any damage from them. (not that big though) I have done more accidental damage to the vehicles than they ever will. Dropping stuff on them, scuffing them with my phone case, stuff falling over on them, etc., etc... I don't have any mice building nests in them and stinking them up though. Good trade off as far as I'm concerned...:)

It's no problem as long as the cats don't mind me driving their vehicles once in a while ;)

Are you sure Leon that you are not taking the blame for what the cats have done to your vehicles that you mentioned ? Or maybe a better question is do you declaw them? I doubt either one ,,but at the same time feel you have been lucky as I have not.

Re: Are you ok with Cat's on top of your vechile?

Never had a big yellow tabby like OP posted on my car. We used to have a neighbor cat that put paw prints all over our cars. I spread some newspaper on my car and laid down a bunch of mouse traps. Then another single layer of newspaper.

Cat hops on car, sets off mouse snap trap, scares one or two lives out of cat who is now orbiting the planet.
