Fun vintage GM promo film, and entertaining for me because prior to this evening, I've never seen either a '76 or '77 Chalet with plaid dinette seats. At the 4:35 point it shows a clearly '77 model year rig, but when we see the camper interior, it has plaid dinette seats and the fake straight woodgrain panels of a '76 model year camper unit, along with the interior lights and window shades that were seen only in '76 model camper units. '77s have the fake burlwood panels. I assume this one is a prototype of the '77 before production, and if it could be found, it would be one of the more rare versions out there! I know of two or possibly three '77 trucks with leftover '76 campers, but the campers still had the '76 model stripes and '76 burnt orange roof color on them, whereas the one in this film has the '77 stripes and '77 roof color that matches the rest of the camper unit.
