Greetings from the far north,
Just reading and searching through the many articles on builds and problems - certainly inspiring and helpful. Curious as to the relevance of old posts in the For Sale section (i'm only looking in the 67-72 Trucks). When looking for something specific with the Search feature, one can end up reading a post from years ago. While dated, is there some merit in deleting posts that are a certain age? i'm looking for a frame but i see only one or two recent posts - perhaps the Admin should put a ceiling on what's posted and for how long? Maybe like, this year and last? However, lots of good advice in other avenues - thanks for the help.

We usually take the route of not deleting old posts, no matter how old they are. For one reason, it deletes member's contribution to the board over the years. It would be a lot of work to delete every post in the for sale section after it's a couple years old. There's also the rare occasion where someone was selling a part, no one bought it, and it's been sitting in the garage for 3 years under another part. While cleaning up, the seller finds the part, goes to find the sale post to update it, but can't find it because it was deleted. Now they have to start a new thread for the same part instead of just bumping the original one up to the top.

Old for sale posts also help people selling stuff to track where the market has been and where its going. The same for buyers
