71 GMC Suburban 4x4 for sale

For sale, new 383 backed by 700r4/NP208. Within last 1500 mile: new exhaust, tires, brakes, drivelines, front end ball joints/tie rod ends/ u-joints, and heater core.

Conveniently packaged in a 71 GMC 4x4 Suburban. Good glass except windsheild. Rusty lower edge most of the way around, except front fenders are good. Please ask any questions. Would make great project to finish or good running gear for your truck. Also have a few misc parts: 205 txfr case, new spring bushings, buckets and second seat out of a blazer.

Asking $3500 as is, or $1500 minus engine. I located in northern Nevada. Could be driven anywhere.

Welcome to the board! Nice truck! Whats the interior like? Pictures?

ac102nv 08-09-2004 04:14 PM

Interior is sparce. Front bench seat, no carpet or 2nd/3rd seats. Orig headliner is still in place, but is sagging a little. Door panels/trim is there, but most of it needs to be replaced.

I'll add a few pics later today or tomorrow. Anything special you'd like to see?

If it was herein TN I would take it off your hands how is the floor under that plywood.

ac102nv 08-16-2004 08:17 PM

The original plywood is there, but a prev owner cut a couple small holes in it to access the sending unit on the tank.

stelth2002 08-26-2004 06:01 PM

How many gallons does that tank hold when its empty? Guess? THanks

ac102nv 08-26-2004 09:51 PM

It is not the orig tank, I would guess about 28-30 gallons.

'71c204x4454 09-02-2004 10:23 PM

well when it's empty it holds 0 gallons.

trades

I would prefer to sell outright....Unless someone has a 67 2wd PU with the large back window. I love these trucks and where I live I would not have to smog a 67.

bad_turbo 09-07-2004 01:40 AM

I didn't think you had to smog anything, anywhere in the U.S., that was a '74 or older.

ac102nv 09-07-2004 01:02 PM

bad turbo

Sadly, the two counties in Nevada that rerquire smog tests go all the back to 1968. No rolling timeline, anything '68 and newer gets it. There are ways around, such a "classic" vehicle registration, but those carry a limit on miles driven per year and they must pass an initial test.

bad_turbo 09-07-2004 10:39 PM

that sucks! Well, if you were interested in a 66 nova wagon, at least you wouldn't have to smog it, I have one.

olblue60@aol.com 09-24-2004 09:36 PM

Bump ya up!

ac102nv 09-26-2004 01:14 AM
