54' 3100 restore...my current project

This is my friends truck that I'm restoring for him. Started this weekend and got pretty far into it. This is my insentive to get my truck done next...so whatch for that build.

Got the bed off, sanded down, almost ready for primer. Engine and trans pulled. Gas tank behind the seat pulled.
Whats going in: MII front suspension with rack and pinion. Fuel cell. Will be dropped on static, not air. truck is being built as a clean cruiser...gonna be shweet. I will be updating this weekly or as more work is done.

Re: 54' 3100 restore...my current project

I also have the headers ordered...coated
http://www.sandersonheaders.com/images/D/CC2_600.jpg
The CC2 header is only 4" tall. For very tight clearance connections this header provides excellent clearance. fits all GM straight and angle plug heads, plus Dart, Trick Flow, Brodix, Brownfield, and Edelbrock cylinder heads. Comes with all hardware necessary for installation.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Engine : Small Block Chevy 265-400
Primary Tube Diameter : 1½"
Collector Diameter : 2½"
Weight : 14 LBS / 6.35 KGS

FEATURES:

16-Gauge Primary and Collector Tube Thickness
3/8" Thick Flange
Patented Flange Design Requires NO Gaskets
Tightest Fitting Header Available Anywhere!
Made in the USA
INCLUDES:

Header Bolt Set

OPTIONS:

Our Aluminized Ceramic Coating is available and RECOMMENDED on all Sanderson Headers. We apply a multi-layer inside and outside silver ceramic coating in-house to meet our high standards of quality, and polish the coated header to a high luster. This coating provides aerospace and military technology to your vehicle to control the heat in your engine bay, improve cylinder scavenging of exhaust gases, and increase the longevity of your header investment. (read more here)

You can select Thermal Ceramic Coating below, and the header price and part number will be automatically updated.
Copper Collector Gaskets are recommended for all Sanderson headers (SEE RELATED PRODUCTS BELOW)
Sanderson Headers do not include collector bolts due to our customers' wide range of preference. We do offer a collector bolt set that features Grade 8 Bolts with Locking Nuts (SEE RELATED PRODUCTS BELOW)

NOTES:

This header offers 1½" primary tubes, which is good for about 350HP on a casually used 350 cubic inch or smaller engine application. For larger or higher horsepower applications we offer this header with 1-5/8" primary tube sizes, Order #CC2_158.
Will fit Mustang and Vega style steering as long as there is 2" of clearance between the center exhaust ports and the steering gear.
The Patented Leak-Free Design that Sanderson Headers offer you is the only leak-free flange design on the market ... Do Not Attempt To Use Flange Gaskets! The raised flange on the Sanderson Headers will buckle the gasket during tightening and actually cause a leak!
Sanderson Headers are NOT emissions legal on pollution-controlled motor vehicles. It is the purchaser's responsibility to verify local regulations for compliance.
Wrapping your Sanderson Headers with ANY thermal tape voids your header warranty. The best thermal protection for your headers is our Aluminized Ceramic Coating that is available for every Sanderson Header.
WARRANTY:

Limited 5-Year Warranty (read more here)

DIMENSIONS:

(Right and Left Side Headers are the Same)

Tube Size ............ 1½"
Collector Size ....... 2½"
DIM A ................. 2¾"
DIM B ................. 4"
Weight (Lbs / Kg) . 14 / 6.35
