Reinstalling side molding

When we took the box off the truck last fall, the upper side molding popped off. Is it possible to reinstall it with the old clips? What’s the trick?

Probably not with those clips. My Dually had the stick on plastic clips that were still on the bed, so I just started one end of the trim on the first clip and slid them on. The metal clips should pop out of the holes (except for the two end ones) and then you can re-install them into the trim again and put it all on at once.. Put some masking tape around each clip to protect the paint, and spray a little penetrating oil on each clip where it goes into the hole before prying them out. I use a door panel clip removal tool for prying them out.....

Thanks Leon. Does someone sell the plastic clips?

The best place place to get the proper clips is Mar K. I just got some from them for my truck. They don't show as an individual pieces for sale but if u call them they will sell them separately, although u may find them pricey..
