Sm 465 speedometer plug

I have a 2wd sm465 in a modified pile. The transmission is easily seen at all times.

I am using GPS for the speedometer(live traffic updates, hazards, etc) and do not need the mechanical speedometer outlet. But I also don't want leaks.

Does anyone make a billet or other "plug" that wont look cheap. I don't have a mechanical cable so would need to buy a new one and "cut it down" to serve as a plug. That is plan B.

But I would perfer just screw on billet plug of sorts that would seal that transmission from leaking out of the old speedometer cable outlet.

Anyone have any recommendations on a plug that will simply screw on?

You don't need a plug. Fluid doesn't go into the cable. If it's leaking it needs o-rings.

Just install the speedometer cable driven gear and the driven gear carrier in the transmission.

There is no need to cover it.
