door hinge bolt plates?
 

Is there anywhere that sells the plates the go inside the pillars that hold the door hinges? Really need a set. the ones I have been taped way to much and the bolt size I would have to go up to is way to large.

get a piece of 1/4" plate drill tap install

Use a threaded insert such as a Recoil, E-Z LOK, or a Heli-Coil. With these you would drill the hole out larger, tap it and install a insert back to the original thread size.

Captianfab you would be a life saver. I really don't want to make these things.

I've had to make several over the years, really not that bad to do. Hardest part is getting them back in if the "cage" part is gone in the door post.
