What should I sell my Blazer for?
 

I bought a Blazer online and it showed up not as described. I sued and won but part of the deal is I have to sell it. It is a 72 with 700r4, low mile 350, new 33x12.50x16 Mickey MTs on sim beadlocks. It's rhino'd on the interior. It has a Alpine marine audio system and a soft top. It has some bondo in the front fenders and needs new rockers. Solid project truck.

I've looked around but I'm having trouble factoring the value of the mods. So what should I sell my blazer for?

Thats sounds like a ****ty deal. I would at least try to break even. Show us some pics and maybe we could help.

Sell it to a friend for a dollar to satisfy the court and then have him sell it back to you!!

I think in this case you need to tell what came up short for you which led up to this.was it just the rust?I wouldn`t want you in the same shape as the last seller.I don`t see that much wrong by your desription and I can`t put a value on it based on the info.I wouldn`t want to offer one without the negative points,pluses,and at least a picture.

Definitely need to post pictures and more details to come up with a value....a good starting point would be what you paid for it minus what you think it would cost to replace the issues that weren't as described...

Thanks for all the input.

The main issue is rust, seats need recovered, it needs a dash pad and inner door panels. It needs repainted. I'd keep it but per the judgment I can't.

I think the others are saying you are being vague like the original seller. They need more info about what you considered misinformation by the original seller in order to put a price on it.

These are most of the worst pics. I took these right after the truck got delivered. It was about to rain thats why the top is on but not up. It is a strong project truck but the court says sell it.

After delivery $5700. Again it was supposed to be rust free. The pictures I was shown were pics from a couple years ago apparently when the body was better. I have receipts on a lot of the work that was done so I trust that.

what did the court say ? is there a number u need to get to satisfy the court or was it a "just sell it " and get rid of it ?? if theres no price i would say screw him an sell it for 1-5-10 dollers to a freind that would sell it back to u in a couple weeks or months what ever it is to clear up the case and it would never need to leave your drive way.

IMO probably 2500 to 3500 - if the title is clean, and there's no string's attached to the buyer. I would let them know about all the things you didn't know about.

I haven't measured but no I don't think it's bent. The title is clean. I wouldn't ever sell it without giving the whole scoop. Mechanically its a really strong truck it just needs body work. Thats why I was thinking 3500-4k but it sounds like that's high.

realistically i say the blazer is worth $1500-2000 based on the fact that pieces look to be missing and some things look a little ghetto IMO but post it for $3000 and take the best offer you get - someone will think they talked you down and you'll think you got what you wanted. its a win win

From the pics, it really doesn't look terrible. I would say right around $2600-3200. One thing that hurts it, is the rhino lining. It appears that is isn't real liner which is good. It is pealing and looks like it won't be terrible to scrape out, but will take some serious time for clean up. Rockers can be replaced in a weekend for most folks as long as it isn't in the rocker boxes on blazers. Front fenders can be replaced. Trevor
