700r4 Lockup
Hey guys, I need a picture or description of where the wiring goes for the lockup converter. I think I'm gonna just order the BTO kit for the wiring. Thanks guys, Justin

BTO has instructions with their kit. It's what I used.

Re: 700r4 Lockup
Okay, so now that I'm looking at that kit, do I really need the complete relay style kit if my transmission already had the connection for the lockup wiring? Or do I just need the brake light switch one? I think it probably already has the pressure switch because it was already wired, correct? Thanks, Justin

Re: 700r4 Lockup
there are many different wiring harnesses in 700s depending on the year but all you should need is to apply power to the plug.

Re: 700r4 Lockup
I personally like the TCI kit.
It costs $75 at summit, takes about 15 minutes to install (not including pan removal and re-installation). I personally like the fact that it allows you to add switches to turn off lockup for towing, and lock it up in any gear. :metal: |
