new to this forum but have been a fan and owner of Chevy trucks for many years. Currently I have a 1973 K5 and a 1970 C50 Dump. Wow, what a great resource this is - thank you again!

I had success downloading the 70 Dump manuals - very hard to find paper ones. These will sure do for now!

However, I can not download any of the manuals under the 73-91 listing. I keep getting the following error: (right clicking and saving only gives me a PDF with 1kb size) Am I doing something wrong? I assume this is not one of those times when the server may be shut down due to scripters...

Someone decided to hammer the server from a single IP 64.203.190.32
Transfer of 190,350,188kb from one IP 64.203.190.32
The whole archive is only @ 2% of that at just over 2,600,000kb.
My peak in July '13 was 60,000,000kb spread over 1587 IP addresses. This twerp used more than triple that in one morning. I'm trying to figure out what is going on. This can't be from downloading 50,000kb manuals.

I've downloaded several of your manuals and they've come in extremely handy! Thank you! I also have a 1993 Ford e150 van I need manuals for, is there any other links you know of for this manual?

If you can stay ahead of the Manual Mafia you can sometimes find printed copies on eBay etc. Not sure where else.
I don't do even semi-modern Fords.

Lol, I understand! Trust me, I'm a hardcore Chevy man! My ford is strictly a work vehicle!

I have a longbed green and white 73 F250 390FE and a longbed red and white 66-67 Dodge W200 383B. I washed the bodies off, dumped ATF in the cylinders and sprayed the bodies and frames with used diesel oil around 1991 after my grandfather died. I canvas tarped, and tucked em away in the barn waiting on me. I did put them on heavy black plastic sheet so they aren't sitting directly on the concrete. They're cool looking trucks that got worked pretty hard for almost 100k. The interiors were farm wrecked and neither were running well when they were parked in the early 80's. I keep telling myself I'll get to them. The 76 & 86 are pretty much done so I may go over to the darkside :D

Lol! My 93 Ford work van has over 300,000 miles and starts every time, the only major surgery I've done to it so far was a recent pinion bearing replacement but I have to be honest, one of my favorite trucks was a 1974 F250 390 Supercab longbed. It started life as a carpet hauler so the suspension was beefed up but since it was a Supercab longbed that thing would get stuck on a pile of sh-t on level ground! Forget about taking it down a muddy road, lol!

Big difference, for the better, in fuel and ignition systems in that timeframe. If I actually get started on one It'll get a Davis or Mallory HEI setup and the carbs will get some serious attention. The engines on both were probably in pretty reasonable shape even with the rough farm work.

Used 314gb in Aug and 284 GB last month...
Moved most of the books off my AWS S3 bucket to Mediafire.
Added parts books as I'm no longer paying for bandwidth.

The link for the parts books are inop. If I trim the extra, I get a not found at mediafire.
Thanks yet again for posting all those.

Alex.

My fault. Didn't proofread my code.
I fixed my syntax errors. They work now that I've removed the extraneous function call from the link. At least three folks figured out my error, downloaded the books, and didn't post the fix...
It would've worked if you trimmed the extra leading [URL="

I got it to work today. I'm one of the three. =-) Also needed a colon thrown in.

The link on post #1 for the 1985 GM CK Light Truck Wiring Manual brings up the ST 382B-85 1985 GM CK Light Truck Service Manual Correction and Revision Pages...

Can you get that fixed? I need the 1985 wiring manual.

Thanks,

Re: PDF of Square Schematics & GM Training Manuals

Links are dead for the parts books.

Could someone look up for a 1982 the part number for the column shift gate for the overdrive 700R4 transmission?

I'm swapping a 1991 TBI 350 and 700R4 into my 1982 GMC Sierra 3500 dually flatbed and I want the shifter shifting properly.

A while back I put a 700R4 in a carbed 1978 Chevy van and the column shifter never worked quite right. Didn't matter how it was adjusted, it would only seat firmly in one position.

Wiring diagrams for the 1991 C/K would be much appreciated since those standard cabs are completely different from the R/V crew cabs, suburbans and jimmies.

These are the books that were in my library period. I'm not purchasing manuals to scan beyond what I have already posted or noted that I own and intend to scan. This is the entirety of the project.

I have no need for the T400 manuals beyond the ones I own for my 2000 C2500 6.5 GMC.

1991 didn't include the C K G S T or M chassis diagrams just R V & P. If you are willing to buy a set of 91 CK wiring diagrams and ship em to me I'll scan them and post em up with a nod to you as the guy who got em to me. Include a return label and I'll ship em back to you.

Re: PDF of Square Schematics & GM Training Manuals

They seem to be OK. All of them download and open in Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.5
Click the links and they'll open a Mediafire page... Right click the green "Download (xx.xxMB)" button in the upper right and save the PDF file.

These were created with Adobe Acrobat 9.5 so they shouldn't have artifacts that keep them from opening with other readers... Foxit for Linux/Android/IOS/Windows or Skim for Mac OS are the first ones I can name off the top of my head. There are lots of good and not so good lightweight PDF editors and readers if Adobe is too bloated to play well on your system.

I may get to the 85 ST diagrams eventually but not even scanned right now. It takes around an hour apiece to stitch the pages.

Keep your eyes open on Fleabay for manuals not in the hands of the manual mafia.
