Looking for a soft top experts

I purchased a soft top that had the wrong hardware. The vertical and horizontal bars for the door window are designed for velcro. The top has channels sewn into it instead of flaps with velcro, they are to large to slide through the channels. Does anyone have pictures of what I need or extra hardware they want to sell.

Richard 2717 had a listing in June....shows a stock photo of hardware needed for a Besttop ..if that's what what you have.

It is a Best Top but I believe it is one of the first ones made for the first gen. blazers. If you look at the long bar in Richards picture and the one I pictures they are almost identical, that bar is too large to fit in the sewn pocket. The flat piece on the bar has velcro on it to attach flaps, this top doesn't have flaps.

Never seen one with it sewed in. Mine all have velcro.

Apparently, no one else has either, I've had it on 6 different groups counting these one. Someone just contacted me and said they think they have what I need. He bought his blazer in 75 with a soft top on it, he's pretty sure his had the pockets also, my fingers are crossed.

May be you can take the stitches out and but velcro on it make sure the bracket will work first.

That might be an option, I'll wait and see what the gentleman from California has first. What's another couple of days, I've been trying to figure this out for a month. People have sent me about a dozen of the best top directions for the newer style top, lol.

You could cut the bracket to make it thin so it will fit. I think a thinner bracket will make it week.

Found what I needed from a gentleman in California. He bought his blazer in 1975 with the soft top installed, he put a hard top back on it and fortunately for me he kept the hardware. He still has the blazer but said he'll never take the hard top off.
