Not sure, but do you know the Shift Pattern?

Re: Clark 5 speed Trans OD

Not familiar with that one.

The Clark in my '62 was:

2 4 R
--N--
3 5 1

It was not an OD.

Along with a 2-Speed Rear, the Shifting Sequence was:

1L
1H
2L
2H
3L
3H
4L
5L
4H
5H

But, the Trans in my '67 was like your picture above, but I never knew what kind of Trans it was. Had the same Shifting Sequence though, and was also not an OD. Could have been a Clark, possibly.

From what I understand about those, that's a direct 5 speed, no OD. I think the OD models were denoted with a "VO"

I'm sort of hunting for a Clark 5 like that one, I need a gear that's slightly underdriven in my truck but not as deep as 3rd is on my Muncie

I agree VO would be an overdrive. What I like most about the truck OD's, is the .80 range overdrive, instead of the typical light duty pickup OD's in the .70 range.

The Clark transmission model you should be looking for is a 280ovo. There was a article about this swap into a square PU several years ago, I think the article was in 4 wheel and Off Road but I don't remember for sure

Not a clark, but here is a medium duty overdrive transmission that would be easy to swap if you dont need PTO...https://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/t...-transmission/

They have pto's out there but theyre costly.

After looking at your shift pattern I don't believe it's any of those either

That's the shift pattern on the five speed that was in IH Loadstar trucks and busses, FWIW.
