manual transmission to automatic conversion

I was wondering if there were any threads or pictures on the conversion of a three speed manual to an automatic transmission. I need all the help I could get. Thx

It's fairly simple. You will need an automatic trans cross member, auto linkage, auto column, flexplate, and possibly a starter. The hardest part for me was removing all the rivets that attach the manual trans cross member to the frame. I used an air chisel, but it was very noisy, even with ear protection. If you can find a truck with the auto setup in it, take all the pieces and it will be an easy swap. I have an inline six and I had to experiment with starters until I found the right one. I finally ended up using a starter for a 1970 350 engine. The only other problem I ran into was the linkage rod that runs from the frame bracket to the steering column was not long enough, but my setup came out of a truck with a V8. Good luck and welcome to the board.
