1957 Chev Truck REBORN

I'm back with another project.. I have acquiring parts to start this new project and today I finally picked up my doner chassis.
Here is what I'm shooting to achieve

As it stands I have picked up two cabs which will make up the extended cab.
I have a step side short box and a couple of fenders.

Now I will let my pictures do the rest of the talking
Here are pics from this past summer when I picked up my first cab

Interesting for sure. What's the condition: mileage, etc. of the donor?

Isn't the track width of the donor too wide for the TF truck unless you do some custom backspaced rims at minimum? If so, what are your plans to address that issue? I'll look forward to seeing this come together!

I don't expect the track is going to be a huge issue. The 2001 has a track of 78" outer side wall to outer side wall. The 57 has a measurement 78.5" rear fender across to rear fender.

I anticipate I may have to order custom rims to compensate but as the first picture shows this guy was able to pull it off with a 2003 Silverado 2500HD

Anythings possible if you through enough money at it :)

I realize it's been a while, but here is a few picture updates on my 57 Chev extended cab build.
I'm real happy with the tracking with the chassis is going be.
