WTB: Rims

My dad is looking for a set of rims for a 92 Suburban. He wants a set of the stock alloy rims for a 3/4 ton(8 lug). Anyone who knows of a set, please let me know. Thanks, Jeff.

Are these the ones you are looking for ?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eb...961784&r=0&t=0

Are those factory? My dad is looking for a set like are on my 95. They are just brushed alloy with the factory kind of blade look. Jeff.

Yes those are 01 & 02 HD 3/4 ton Factory alloys

nova, I think those will fit the 88-98 3/4 tons but I'm not sure if the hub cutout is the same size. My hunch is yes. :)

Jeff, I don't think there were any factory aluminum wheels for 8-lugs in those years. The ones you're thinking of are 6-lug, I think. Your '95 is a half-ton 4wd, right? I think your dad will have to buy aftermarket to get aluminum wheels for his 8-lugger. :)

gmcblu, I bolted one up to the rear and it fit but did not try the front over the 4X4 hub.

blu, yeah, he wants a set like on my half ton 95. I was hoping I could find him a set. I sent him a copy of that sale on ebay to see if those would work for him. Thanks nova for sending that. I'll let you guys know what happens. Jeff.

I was over at the local Les Schwabb and I'm pretty sure I saw a set of factory 3/4 ton wheels and some aftermarket 8 luggers sitting for sale. Don't know price but could send their number so you can talk to them. If it sounds good over the phone. I can have wife go buy them for ya. Sorry, but the hours I'm working means I can't go look at them myself

red71cheyenne 08-20-2002 10:30 PM

LeRoy, do please just post the phone # and I'll call them and ask if they would fit Dad's sub. He's on the road too, and can't look much for himself. Thanks, Jeff.

The 99 and older and the 2000 and up are interchangable on the 3/4 to 8-lug trucks. I have the ones from a 2002 on my 99 burb. Speaking of that, anyone interested in the steel rims for a 3/4 ton, I have a full set with all the trim.

BTW my burb is a 4x4.
