hey my names justin. i just turned 15 and love chevrolets! i have a 94 Z71 that was badly wrecked but with my uncle and a 98 Tahoe we fixed it up... a little.lol. we still have a lil bit more work to do to it. tha guy that had it before me drove around in 4-wheel drive for about a week and the front axel got so hot it boiled all of the fluid out of tha front end. so we have to take it out and see if we can rebuild it. and i also needa paint job. lol. ill put more pics on here as soon as i can!

Yall this is my awesome nephew, I will post some before pics and some progress pics of the truck. Its got the grill, bumper and lights out of my wrecked 96 tahoe and the factory hood off my 95 z71 I just sold. The interior was really nasty. We currently have the whole thing gutted. It had some huge dents in the doors and side. We knocked em out best we can. We will have the body work and paint done as money allows. Right now on the list is rebuilt the front diff and new balljoints.

pics... pic of my tahoe we got the grill and bumper out of. the pic of it with 4 flat tires is where it sat behind my dealership for 6 months until we bought it. The rest are the first day we had it home and my nephew workin on it.

Dents are much easier to deal with than rust for sure, Keep the updates coming ! :metal:

yep... I use to do all the work to the truck for the original owner. this truck was perfect 2 years ago. I mean it. supper nice. 80k miles. etc. now it has just over 100k. When he passed away his drunk son got it and got two... yes two DUIs from crashing it. we found a bunch of hidden beer in it it when we were pulling the interior out. it is a shame

Spudz....one question: What did the P.O. do to the Tahoe to get it to look like that? For all those dents and dings and broken glass and the grille and front bumper look virtually undamaged.

I didn't buy it crashed... I crashed it lol. I was passing two cars at the same time, as I was going around the first car, he decideded he wanted to pass the car ahead of him and he merged into my front fender and ran me down in the grass. I lost control trying to get back on the hwy and spun around and backed it into the woods 70mph. It was a rough ride. When it stoped rolling it was laying on the passenger side with water up to the radio with my ex gf under water. All I seen was her hair floating. But she popped up and we climbed out and only injury was some cuts from the broken vent visors. I will post more pics later when I get home.

The only pic I have before the wreck. also some pics of what I did with it after I cleaned all the broken glass. What else would you do with a totaled 4x4 chevy that stilll runs and drives?? I took it to a mud run! It was one of the funest things Ive ever done. Me and my friends beat on it all day till we spun a bearing. When I totalled it they gave me 10.5k for it and the system I had in it. Then I bought it back for 700 because I JUST put a new gm certa trans in it a month before the wreck. We rode around the mud run all day, bouncing off the rev limiter, a/c blasting, no windows, hitting the big mud at 50mph and skipping across the holes. man I should put it back together lol.

i actually crunk up my truck last night with my uncle. we havent crunk it up since the summer time and i fell in love with it... again! lol hopefully we'll start workin on the front end soon and then get a paint job as money allows!
