Looking great!

tube bender works good and it easy to use I chose this bender because its bends 3 sizes and i didn't want to buy a 1 size. My local Sears carrys this bender for $45 or shop online I got mine at Eastwood $54 shipped.

I got the intake polished LS6 twin air horn from Street & performance http://www.hotrodlane.cc/ for 306.95. with a polished 5 pin MAF adapter for $42.95
To mount this it uses two small allen screws which I replaced with a Spectre 4" tube connector I got that for$15

The filters are from Spectre I got those from Jegs for $31.99. Kragen or Autozone carries them for $39.00. specs- 3", 3.5", and 4" diameter inlet tubes Blue: 6" W x 10.25" L

has anyone used rubber type if so how is it holding up?

sample pic

I used rubber efi fuel line (with high presure clamps) on 5.0 swaps in mustangs and it holds up great. One of my builds is at about 7 years old with no issues.

Well I have all the parts needed but Im being held back because I'm moving by the end of this month and I will need the truck to haul. I also need to get my paint, I want to paint the engine bay, fire wall, inner fenders ,wheel wells, and the radiator core support before I drop the engine. Once I do start I will keep the pictures coming.

Holy cow that's a lotta bling! I'd like to know your opinion on what the effect of sucking all that heat through the split intake has on performance one it is up and running. Do you plan on doing a dyno tune once it's done?

Looking sweet, love the truck too!

I may have clearance issues with this Y intake, I just may run a single. I will do a dyno to fine tune and get the most out of it and to know exactly what the numbers are.

Today I sent my harness and computer to get re tuned at Wait 4 Me Performance. They offer free retunes for life, just in case if you do any changes.
Tuning for smog exempt as I will not be running all the smog items, and tuning in accodance to the new cam specifications, will result in more power and better gas milelage. Overall more efficient.

Are you able to tell, with the S&P headers, if there will be any clearance issues on the passenger side if the rubber engine mount were to be moved back 2" from where the S&P plate would normally locate them? Thanks!

I havnt tried this without using the relocator plates, keep in mind the plates also move the motor up about 1/2". You can try and ask Mark himself from S&P (479) 394-5711.

You probably already know this but depending on the year of the LS motor it will have different exhaust manifolds, Stock the ones that have the heat shroud over them will not fit on the passenger side, will need to be grinded down about 1/4"
