Reviving a C30 with diesel

I have an 80 C30 cab and chassis with 350 th400 and true duals when im done it will at least have a 6.2 diesel with NV4500 and dual turbos/exhaust and be 4WD. But today I chose to replace a broken wing window so motor and trans will wait til another day.

P.S. It's a custom deluxe which means it has no options.

What are your plans for converting to 4x4? I just converted my Suburban last fall and used the original 2wd frame.

I plan to paint my door panels and other interior pieces black. I wondered how it would look. Now I know.

Subbed. Have you thought about something with a little more power potential? Perhaps a duramax or for simplicity a 12 valve cummins?

I know how to get around a 6.2 pretty well and it's a direct drop in bolt up very little fab work and a lot of time and I'm sure money will be spent on suspension and body work I just would like to stick with the more cost effective 6.2. and also I would like to see if I can get the rears to spin or not seeing as that kinda hard to make a 6.2 do.

Got the truck on the road a little bit yesterday and Layed some new rubber down need to get some higher gears in it or else the miles on it won't be accumulating to fast.

Wow, Ya'll must have thought I let this thread die. Well no such luck. First pics of the seat.
Attachment 1461977Attachment 1461978Attachment 1461979Now the new developments, First I found out that I have a 400 VS a 350 motor in the truck but that wont matter since i am trading it for a good 6.2L DIESEL engine to mate up to the NV4500 manual trans that I purchased in my abcence(pics of that later) also I am going to settle for a flat bed til I can find a good (and reasonably priced) truck bed, Here's pics of the bed. I'll try and keep ya'll posted on further developments.
