That is a sweet looking truck willy. Very nice. Did you use drop spindles up front? On mine I want to lower as far as I can without swapping to disc brakes for now. Later maybe but for now I just want her rolling down the road...

Willy your stance is the perfect stance I'm going for. Gotta tell me springs or spindles?

An old stock 3/4 ton chevy should sit with the tail up and the nose dipped just a bit, that is if the springs arnt worn from the years of work

You've got the hot rod stance nailed! What size tires are you running?

Willy I measured mine the same way you did just for kicks, mine was at 9 inches front, 14 rear at the bottom of each bumper.

Hey Papa Kent that's real nice. What was done suspension-wise to achieve the stance?

well thankyou! I just installed (light duty) factory coils in the rear,(not the heavier progressive coils) and cranked down the torsion bars a bit.when i purchased it last fall it had heated coils on it and was to low for me and it rides on 245/60 15's.

I know these pictures aren't great for stance but I like the back up a bit myself. So This truck has 2.5" drop spindles and 3 " drop coils in the front and 5" drop in the back. Thats only 1/2" difference but when you stand back and look at these trucks they look like the back is higher to begin with because of the way the box bottom ends.
