Re: I Have a Linex Sprayed-in Bed Liner,,,And
hey papa,go talk to the linex guy,he's just past scwabs on indy way.he's a good guy.i had him do my dodge when i had it.i think they sell a product, that is kinda like armorall.i don't think it last's very long.the key to keeping them from fading is parking undercover.i v'e had three spay ins and had good luck with them cause of where i park.my 79 was done at clary's and still look's new 3 yrs later.

Re: I Have a Linex Sprayed-in Bed Liner,,,And
Hi,
i hope this isnt off topic to much here but.I did the bedliner to my 01 ram myself in my garage. It took me 2 days to prep it and a good part of the day to roll it myself.I used herculiner and i will say for the price of the kit it is welll worth it.Here are some pics of before and after. If you got access to a compressor and a DA sander you can save yourself some serios cash.I got prices for like 550.00-600.00 and that was doing up to the areas i got shown. The sides of my bed was faded severally from the florida sun. With some 240 grit and inside of the truck`s bed it was good enough to use the liner coating.I also did inside of the tailgate jambs and the tailgate as well. thanks pat Before http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMGP0429.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMGP0430.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMGP0428.jpg After: http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMGP0432.jpg http://i205.photobucket.com/albums/b...y/IMGP0431.jpg |

Re: I Have a Linex Sprayed-in Bed Liner,,,And
Or you could contact Alsliner.com Its a DIY kit. I am a distributor for it in my area. check there site out. I'm BarryB's coatings in the dealer list. maybe theres somebody close to you that can get you set up with it. If not contact me I'll get you set up with a kit.
Big plus, it's UV stable and doesn't fade out like rhino , linex. |
Re: I Have a Linex Sprayed-in Bed Liner,,,And
Line X has a UV coating they can spray on when you first have it done. I'm not sure you can have it done later. One key to keeping it nice and black is to make sure all the soap residue is washed off. That helps it from it getting that gray tint to it. I had mine done 7 years ago, and it still looks pretty good. It's faded a little, but much better if that UV coating wasn't sprayed on.

Re: I Have a Linex Sprayed-in Bed Liner,,,And
I had a "Primo Bedliner" sprayed into my F150 years ago, it stayed black for awhile, but he did say it was gonna fade. I went back to him, and he gave me a restore kit that had some black liquid and a sponge. I wiped it all over the liner and it made it black again. I have a feeling it was fancy plastic black paint. That stuff held up for 2 more years until I sold the truck. The restore kit was $15, but he gave it to me if I brought the truck back so he could see what it looked like, at the time, he had only sold 2 boxes.
