Well I broke down and got a 32.
Pete and Jakes chassis, 350/350. Have lots to do. If anyone know how to tame this suspension please chime in. |

Re: 32 Fordoor Sedan
Very nice, what do you mean by tame the suspension? Is it original springs? I kind of see a shock strut under the front.

Re: 32 Fordoor Sedan
Buggy spring front with Shocks.
Coil overs in rear. I'm figuring it all out. Thanks |
Re: 32 Fordoor Sedan
I suggest going over to the HAMB website for info on the suspension. Or if you know it's an actual P&J chassis, give them a call and get some advice. This looks like a pretty traditional car (i.e. not a billet street rod) and it should fit right in. And how can you go wrong with a '32 Ford? Looks really nice. Enjoy!

Re: 32 Fordoor Sedan
No the HAMB is good if your one of the initial few who started the group. I have never been successful at getting responses there (not in the click). And frankly there is far too many haters there.

I installed a from steering damper from So-Cal and it seems to have fixed an issue I had. I'm going to cover it in semi gloss clear from Poppy's Patina. Should work for what I'm looking for. |
Re: 32 Fordoor Sedan
that is nice!
you know, this is weird.... but every time I see a car from this era, I always think if someone at some point was hanging on the running board shooting at someone like the movies. |
Re: 32 Fordoor Sedan
well I guess you could, it's been done obviously.
