Big ten two tone paint on a 07-13?
 

Hi everyone, been a while since I’ve been here I recently picked up an 09 Sierra regular cab long bed from copart. 4.8L, 4x4 100k miles. Pretty neat truck. WT trim, and I didn’t realize it until after I bought it but it doesn’t have active fuel management. Which is a plus for me.
Anyway, it has some rust hiding under the rear fender flairs that I’ll eventually fix. After that’s done, I was thinking about doing a white two tone paint job like the old “big ten” trucks. I’ve seen that paint scheme on 14+ trucks, but never on 07-13 trucks. Just wondering if it’s been done and if so, maybe someone can share some pictures.

I'm not a fan of the newer truck with retro style paint jobs. Reminds me of old people that try to mimic what they wanted when they were younger.

Here is one for an idea, I know its a newer body style than yours, even has the Big 10 decal on the rear of the box. A buddy of mine sent me this screenshot since the instagram page pulled a picture of my '74 K20 off the web to use.

Same here.. haven't seen that on an 07-13. Here is another one..
