Re: Parting 92 Chevy 2500 4x4 Diesel

Do you have the air box to turbo tubing, the driver side rear bumper step pad, the pair of grey visors?

Ill also jump in line on the driver door handle and cowl vent louver.

I also could use the hydroboost reservoir cover. Just don't need the whole setup.

I'm out of town right now so I will check on all parts ASAP. Thanks for your patience.
special K- I want to keep the doors complete right now. The p.s. cowl vent- if it is the short piece that comes off to remove the front clip, $10 plus shipping but let me double check to see if there is any damage to it.
wancosc356- I want to leave the hydro boost complete, I will check on the visors, step pad, and turbo tubing. Most of the top engine parts are scattered in the bed.
cnshoot- If the engine wiring harness is good $30 plus shipping. I will check ASAP.
Thanks, Ray

I checked the truck and the bumper pad has a chunk missing. The grey visors are dirty but not ripped. The cowl is good and the turbo tube is good (L shaped). I can do $45 shipped for everything. For $55 total shipped, I can throw in the KN air filter with the other stuff.
I will be away until Sun. Thanks, Ray

What do u mean by, a chunk missing? Could u get me some pics of the other parts?

Also, is the gas pedal assembly a cable setup or an electronic setup? If electronic, could u get me a pic of it?

Thanks.

It looked like someone backed into a trailer coupler and dented the bumper and took a piece of the pad above the dent. I will have answers and pics later today. Thanks, Ray

I'd like those tow hooks off the front end. The factory black hooks.
If you wouldnt mind PMing me a price, or something.

I may forget to check this thread again, but I do want those.

Chuck, I'm looking at $100 plus shipping for the turbo related parts but wancosc356 is first up on the turbo tube. The shipping will be pricey...probably around $40-$50. If that works, I will gather up the parts to make sure it is what you want. Most of them are scattered in the bed. It has a serpentine belt system. Do you need just the pulleys and tensioner?
Thanks, Ray

Stitch 05-23-2010 10:54 PM

Re: Parting 92 Chevy 2500 4x4 Diesel

I would love to get the setup for the turbo for that price plus the shipping...also, I need the pulleys, the tensioner, and also the high output water crossover...it should have two thermostats in it, I think...thanks again Ray...

edit: also, do you know what turbo that is GM-?

edit again: looks like I need these things for the turbo swap...thanks Ray

1)turbo
2)turbo exhaust manifold
3)exhaust crossover pipe
4)exhaust downpipe
5)oil feed line
6)oil drain plate and drain tube
7)airfilter
8)CDR hookup...this looks like a tuna can on the front of the top of the motor
9)upper and lower 6.5 intake
10)injectors
11)injector lines from the injection pump

if you don't have all of this, that's cool...I'd like to have everything that you have on the list though...thanks

Re: Parting 92 Chevy 2500 4x4 Diesel

The turbo tube looks good. It doesn't have any rips/tears/holes anywhere does it?

Were you able to get a pic of the passenger side cowl piece?

Also, is the gas pedal assembly a cable setup or an electronic setup? If electronic, could u get me a pic of it? My truck is throwing a Throttle Position Sensor code.

Im gonna pass on the visors and the K&N filter.
