I metal detect as a hobby and spotted this on a forum that I check out here and there
Thought you guys would like to see and may even know what year and what they were used for
My thought on it is it could of been given out to a dealer for a reward ?
What do you think ???

Very cool piece, never seen one like that before, wonder how old that is. Curious, what is the diameter of the piece? Quarter size, half dollar....? Would make a cool key chain fob for a classic Chevy.

He said it was a bit larger than a nickle
Someone else said based on the chev logo (line above and below the name ) it was from the 30's

1913-1950 is when the double line logo was used.

Speculating here but it looks like a reward token given to an employee for a possible improvement they suggested or taking a training class. Similar to this one listed on EBay https://www.ebay.com/itm/26662893622...Bk9SR870xJLiYw

If that guy with the scythe and hour glass is a representation of Father Time, could be a reward for being extra productive or making a time saving suggestion.

Might have been a WWII handout for 'getting things done'.
