Local dealership took it in on Trade. So I sold them my 2018 Jeep Wrangler and bought it. I guess all my vehicles need to be projects.

1984 Chevrolet K5 Blazer 4x4
355ci V8
700R
10 Bolt front
10 bolt rear ( maybe getting swapped one tons front and rear)
Power windows, door locks, AC, ect...

Plenty of work to do, but I don't have $38k in debt on the Jeep anymore.

Very cool. Jeeps are cool too, but not much to love about 38,000 owing. I saw in another thread that you are already looking for doors for it. Look forward to seeing what you have in mind for it.

Gonna build this Blazer back to it's former glory with some updates. It is a 190k original mile Blazer. Its tired but I am daily driving it.

Its got a healthy 355ci SBC and 700R right now. I have a 454 and 4L80e. I have a 5.3L that a single 76mm turbo would wake up nicely that i could also pair with the 4L80e.

I want to do 1 tons and4 wheel disc brakes. Just overbuild and not have to worry about it. its a toss up between a Dana 60 King Pin front axles or a 14 Bolt front axle. Rear will be a full float 14 bolt.

End Goal is a classic Square Body Blazer with all the comforts that can anywhere comfortably.

No debt feels good.
Those wheels look like 12"s.

Front Dana 60 is sourced, paid for, and on the way.
Current iron heads have a shoddy rebuild and are leaking oil past the valve seals. Perfect excuse for some Aluminum heads. Merry Christmas to me.
My dad bought new rockers for me for Christmas.
Need to order the rebuild components for the rear power tailgate.

Been a few since I updated.

GM Dana 60 King Pin axles, Late Model GM Full Float 14 bolt, and all the necessary parts for install are here. Gonna go with Suburban rear leaf's and factory blazer leaf's for the front. A Bomb front leaf mounts and such. New Shackles and Bilstein Shocks.

Ordered 15x10 RaceLine bead lock wheels. Sucks for me they wont clear the rear disc brakes on the 14 bolt. Gonna have to order some 17" Bead Locks.

Got the rear tailgate semi rebuilt. Didn't even think about pics or video. It was fairly straight forward. Need to get the truck rewired.

Its in the process of getting the tired 350 SBC pulled and swapped for very healthy Aluminum head 383.

Been a few since I posted and update.
Dana 60 King Pin and FF14 Bolt are sitting in the garage. All required parts are in boxes.
I finally got the Aluminum head 383sbc in and running. It’s a rowdy little engine. Tailgate rebuild is done. Still need to wire everything up.

As much I want to finish it. I have tossed around selling it to focus on my 71 C10.
