2ooo takes it. poncho 350, shaved sidemarkers/emblems, rebuilt turbo350, newer tires, new cabcorners and rockers, steel bedfloor, fuel cell, disc brakes, b&m shifter, newew edelbrock carb, newer batt., alt., starter., i have the paint for it (dupont) but i really dont have time to drive it to work and paint it. i have a book with everyhting that i have ever done to it dated and price. its been off the road for months but i crank it and move it almost everyday. i have too many paying jobs like this one to work on, i cant justify working on this truck anymore. i've got a swaybar in the box and the doors are stripped to bare metal waiting for me to prime them, but i dont have time.

is it basically ready to paint bodywork wise. are the brakes good? also are you interested in any trades/partial trades whatsoever, engines, parts, ???

>X< 11-01-2004 08:38 PM

i am biased as to what it needs because i do this for a living now, we take cars form fields and make machines that you could eat off of. i could finish all the paint/body work in a weekend, but it would still need a rebuilt suspension and a motor to make a nice daily driver. i'm saving for a house and need to get these money pits out of my driveway. i dont need any parts, i have a a/c cab and swb frame that i will eventually use to build a ground up truck.

>X< 11-01-2004 08:39 PM

brakes are good, but some rust on the rotors from not getting driven any, besides up and down the driveway. i just did the brakes before i bought a new truck. i'll get my book out and post some info later

longhorn71 11-01-2004 09:17 PM

if it was not that far away that is a good deal.ttt for ya.good luck

>X< 11-01-2004 09:38 PM

its a good deal at 2500, i spent 800 on the tranny alone

how much do you want for the sway bar? :)

victoryauto 11-04-2004 01:34 AM

 Where in Louisiana are you? I am in Natchitoches and interested in the truck.

HuggerCST 11-04-2004 10:51 AM

>X< is in Baton Rouge. I've seen the truck, heard it run, and it sounded great. Didn't pay much attention to the body, but it looked like a nice project truck.

sorry guys, i hadnt had time to send staceydude pics to lock in the deal and yesterday my good friend offered me a 97 sebring 2 door black v6 for it, straight up. he is picking up the truck in a few hours and it will go to his shop near my house where we will be chopping the top, bags, shaved, engine, etc in the next 2 months. i'm excited about finishing it because i hate working on my own stuff but love helping other people with their stuff. i know i am an a$$hole for not selling it to staceydude, but now i have a pretty nice daily driver car. i will be parting out a 72 custom 20 in a month or two so be on the lookout for some nice parts. i am keeping a swb frame and the s/c cab from the custom 20 so when i get a place i can do a frame up the way i wanted to with the 71. again, sorry staceydude.
