Removing 4x4 rotors

Trying to remove the rotors off the truck. I got the hub and 2 first rings off but am now not sure how to proceed. The repair manual is brutal for any good description. So I'm asking you guys for help. Here's a pic

You might have better luck in the 4x4 part of the forum.

Re: Removing 4x4 rotors

If you already have both of the snap-rings out, the rest of the locking hub just pulls straight out. It may be crusted in there by dried mud, grease, etc.
Stick a screwdriver under the little tabs and pry at it a bit. There is a spring under it, so once started it will come right out.
Past that comes the need for a "special tool". The spindle lock nuts require a 4-pronged socket. The first one holds a locking ring that gets trapped between it and the inner nut. It just lifts off after you remove the first nut. After that is the second nut, same socket. If the usual chain type auto parts stores don't have the socket, NAPA will.
The only other thing holding the hub/rotor in place is the brake caliper. Two bolts and it lifts off, then the rotor will pull right off.
