wood grain with no ac

Hey there so I have a 86 chevy k20 it's non ac and I was wondering if they ever made wood grain for non ac trucks? Is it possible to find that?

They did for 1973 through 1977.

Brushed aluminum trim took the place of the wood grain starting in 1978.

And I think they kept the brushed aluminum up to 1987 or 88. A different wood grain pattern was re-introduced in the 89-91 R/V series but I don't know if there was a non-AC version in those years or not ... probably quite rare since the wood grain was used in the upper trim level trucks that were more likely to be optioned with AC as well.

How hard is it to make a non ac truck ac?

New inner and outer heater/ac box, a/c wiring harness, cut new hole in firewall, cover old hole. works great.

The nice thing about the Heater harness is that it's not wrapped into the rest of the wiring. It's an easy electrical add in because it plugs right in without replacing the cab harness just like the factory dual tank harnesses.
The firewall holes are what makes it difficult.
