Guaging Interest

is there interest in doing a GP for the LSx swap Doug Thorley headers?
1 7/8" Primaries with 3" collectors
#323Y-C

These fit the 67-72 frames and DT has redisigned them to also fit the 73-87 frames too.

A batch should be ready mid/late January, if there is interest I will begin a GP thread and begin pre-ordering.

Thanks,

SH

Re: Guaging Interest

Considering we are not mid to late January, I was hoping to see more people interested. And once it gets midish Jan (that would be 15/16th) I plan on contacting DT to see where they are in production, considering they have not met many production dates they have given me in the past I do not expect this one to be any different.

IF there is a GP the cheapest they will be shipped for is $550-i do have to clear enough to make it worth my time. But $550 we would need 10 prepaid orders, otherwise I would see them going out for $575+

Keep it up, I do want to help you guys out but with only 4 people interested its tough to bite the bullet and have 20sets sitting in storage....

Re: Guaging Interest

DT states they will fit 4x4. figuring out when they are going to be ready.
they are not making the 1 5/8" any more.

Re: Guaging Interest

That sucks. Looking at the pic on there site they are long tubes and the 1 7/8 are mid or shorties.

1 7/8" are long tubes, just like the 1 5/8" headers are.

Re: Guaging Interest

They look a lot different then the 1 5/8 or what ever the old size was. Are they mid lenght?

chevy-fun 01-12-2012 10:56 PM

Re: Guaging Interest

They looked mid lenght to me too..??

1. Which motors mounts were used? (I know I seen some say don't work with cpp mounts, or will they work with any mounts)
2. Will they hang below frame ?

Thats what i said. The 1 5/8 look long tube. These look mids. They might lose a little torque but you will gain a few hp.

Re: Guaging Interest

I sold 12 of these sets and shocked that none have been posted to show the pix....
I am told these have been redesigned to fit the CPP mounts.
