Boyd Welding Side Fill Questions

About to give AZ Pro a call to place an order on a Boyd tank. I'm looking to get a side fill and put a gas flap in the side of the bed.

Are these tanks easy to use in the side fill configuration? Does it clear the bottom of the bed (fill neck to bed floor) easily and with wiggle room?

Also, do you have to remove any crossmembers to get the tank to get into spot or does it go into place easily?

Id like to avoid bed fill because if my tailgate on this truck ends up like my 84 I'll hate opening and closing it.

Pics would be very helpful as well as ideas.

Thanks in advance.

I have read a bunch of threads on this topic, I have a Boyd tank I bought last year but haven't installed due to lack of time and space...this is my favorite filler I have found, he did an outstanding job on it and I plan to do mine the same way.
