'78 lwb frame w/engine and tranny
Maybe a stupid question, but...
Finally getting to haul the first part of my project home this weekend. Trying to How much do you all think will this thing weighs? I was figuring 1,000 lbs? Trying to figure if dad's trailer will haul it or need a heavtier one. Thanks, '70GMCStep '65 C-10 lwb :chevy: '70 GMC stepside swb :gmc2: '80 Scottsdale project :chevy: |

No, surely 1,000 is not enough. Surely the engine and tranny are 600 together, just wondered if anyone knew how much a frame would come in at.

Re: '78 lwb frame w/engine and tranny
well my 77 gross weight is I think about 5600ish, you have a 3 ton truck practically so if your dad's trailer can handle 6,000 plus I'd say go for it, if it can't just find a u-haul trailer to use for a fwd, put the key in put it in neutral and take her home, or I would do that at least.
