The chassis is coming around after several doses of degreaser. I washed the 55 while I was waiting for the degreaser to soak.yeah she's a picture whore.

Just seeing this Larry, following along now! Do you own Davis construction? I saw that 55 rolling past Fedex today as I was leaving for lunch. Nice car, and this truck is gonna be slick when done.

Haha! Good for you. I haven’t seen that red/white two wheel drive around town though, sharp looking truck.

Larry...thanks for the heads up on this thread. I just don't click into the 4x4 section much...which is stupid, because that's all we do. I'm so pumped about all the inspection markings. Thanks for taking time to document them. I'm especially excited because my K20 is a Fremont truck and I thought I'd have to tone it down a bit on the graffiti...but nope, those trucks got marked up pretty well too it seems. Excited for the follow. Great work so far. Keep it up and thanks for sharing.

I picked up the frame and associated parts today from the powder coater. I got the frame positioned over the axles and hope to start assembly tomorrow.

Looking better than good, looking great. Got a powder coater locally in Harrison or do you have to go a distance? I'm about to call a few around here about some wheels I want to get done.

Same question for me? Are you using the one down by the 7 north intersection? Across from National Auto Trim? Progress is looking awesome!

Re: Arkansas K10

I had this done at Industrial Powder Coating in Mt Home.

The one at HWY 43 and HWY 7 north sold out and is a production operation now. No PC for the public anymore. He said maybe later.

There is a PC at Berryville and one at Nixa, MO.

I am going to take the sheet metal to Mt, Home to get it dustless blasted.

I detailed small parts and final clean on engine transmission and transfer case this week. I committed to pulling the steering column out of the Corvette for rebuilding by Monday so it may be next week before I make more progress here.
