Question, is the small back window really rare??
I have a 1967 C-10 Chevrolet Fleetside, longbox. It has a small back window and i was wondering if it really is rare as i have heard from a couple people. Thanx:canada:

Nope. Most of the 67's had it. It was the base model equipment on a 67, and 67 only.

alright thanx, but i really do like the look of the small window, glad i have it

WOW, the small rear window option is nearly as rare as the three door Suburban. You have a real find!!
The small window is the standard in 67.They seem somewhat rare but there are a lot of them around. They only seem rare because they were for one year only.I too like the way they look. |
The ratio of small back windows to large back windows in 1967 was approx. 50/50. 1967 was the 2nd smallest production run of 67-72 trucks. In my book I consider them semi-rare and more desireable than the large back window 67 UNLESS the 67 large back window is heavily optioned with rare options then I will opt for a large back window.
GMCPaul PS- They get rarer every day!!! |
Whats rare?
Around here u see very few small windows. So, I guess u could say they are getting rare.

Dont forget about the early 68's
Hey Chris where in Canada are you? :canada: http://www.scatpack.ca/iB_html/non-c...s/party048.gif |
wasn't the small window an option in th early 68's
|
I see mass small windows, rarely a big window 67,and never have a small window 68 in my whole time truck hunting.Wish my 67 had big window:mad:
|
Big trucks have them too
Most 67's i see have the small back window. I dont like them, they are a pain to see out of. My friend had a '67 with the little window...backing it up once made me miss my '72s large window. Also, i think every C40-C60 truck made from 67-72 has the small back window, they are a good source for small window cabs if you want one. Even the 73-87 C40-C60 trucks have the little window. I have wanted to see one of those cabs on a C10, i think a 73-87 with a small back window would look pretty neat :)

The small window was not supposed to be available in 86 on the 10 - 30 series. There seems to have been a couple that slipped through, but personally I think those were 67 cabs swapped out years ago for one reason or another. (just my opinion)
