Original Radio

Had my original radio reworked. When I went to install the antenna plug it would not stay in place. Looking in the socket on the back of the radio it looks like a small cylinder with a small hole at the end. Thinking there should be something else in there that would include an insulator that would friction the plug?

The antenna plugs I've seen have a bulged out metal area like this one for the friction.

The plug is not the problem. I am thinking I am missing something in the socket to retain the plug. Presently there is a small hole in the end of the socket but it is too small for the the plug (I have tries several). Thinking there should be an insert with some sort of insulator. I don't have another radio to check.

Some things are too easy. But when your laying under the dash its tougher. The plug looks like it goes straight in but it does not. it is angled. When I played with the plug a bit and got the angle it slipped right in.
