70 k10 front problems

2 years into trouble. replaced wheel bearings twice but she keeps eating them- causing the steering to pull to the right magically- dangerous. I have an 85 from axle i picked up for 300 (disc brakes). rather than swapping the whole axle, can I just replace it from the 'knuckles' on out? or is it best to just swap the whole thing- ball joints, etc. will not line up? Any videos or tips on such a swap? I think I need a different booster, master cylinder and portioning valve. Any recommendations for that setup too? Thanks a lot.

Had the same problem. I tried replacing with a used one off of a spare rear that I have but had the same problem, the bearing did not have a tight / snug fit, luckily the aftermarket world has plenty, replaced with a new one, problem solved.

It's for a big bearing disc brakes. I bought it off of Ebay.

Scott---go to the 60-66 forum and the build section--search for 61k10 build. all the info toward the end (disc on the closed knuckle). New spindles from Yukon-hubs from Rockauto. they are big bearing spindles and hubs.
All the outer stuff of the 85 will be the big bearing stuff. It's all in my build--good luck
