Ran across this old '58 GMC conversion. 10 lug, air brakes and a monster 6 gasser from the looks of it. I wonder if these took a standard pickup cab? Might be able to add a cab to it and have a nice little road tractor. =)

I'm guessing 57
Really interesting conversion. Looks like it was maybe a school bus that was shortened and turned into a road tractor with the very first walk in sleeper.

That clip will fit a pickup. The fenders make it fit the large truck track.

The side markings show that it was a Bekins Van Lines truck. Has about 15 different state reg numbers on the side of it. I think the conversion was done by an upfitter. I saw another truck just like it but now I can't find the picture.

After doing some research this weekend I don't think that I would even be able to find gaskets for the 503 ci that is in it. Thought I had found a cab but it was too rusted out for my skill level.

Not sure if this one is worth hauling home or not.

It if it were $200 or so then yeah as the frontend is cool, otherwise the rest is scrap im my mind. Be nice to build a big truck around it that chassis/clip.
