8L90 Swap - Fast Learn Process
 

Has anyone that has done an 8L90 swap performed the fast learn process on the trans? My 8L90 has some bad shift characteristics and I was considering running the fast learn process on the trans to try to reset it. I'm going to use the VCX Nano interface with the GM GDS2 software.

My concern is that part of the fast learn process is to open and close the drivers door (I believe this signals the TCM to sleep). Without a BCM in my swap would this cause the fast learn process to fail or worse remain stuck in the process with no gear?
