Frame shortening kits that arent Brothers

I recently read here on the board about a kit someone used to shorten the frame on a long box. It wasn't the Brothers kit but was similar. Unfortunately I forgot to bookmark the thread ugh!

I'm not even sure it was the original poster, might have been someone adding to the thread.

I did a couple of (futile haha) searches. Lemme know if you have an idea of what I'm talking about ... thanks!

That would be Long Shot Fabrication.

I bought a kit but I haven't installed it yet. A lot better price than Brothers.

I shortened my frame without any kits and it turned out fine. I watched plenty of people do it on youtube and I gave it a shot. I would do it the same way if I ever shorten a frame again. A kit might be nice, but a tape measure, cut off wheel, and welder can get it done as well.

I shortened the frame for my '70 using this thread.

It worked out great but I wanted to try the Long Shot Fabrication kit to see how it worked. That's why I ordered it.....

I'm curious to see if anyone prefers this kit to the Brothers one. I'm inclined to try it.
