Hi from Donald & Tyler Here is a little up date on how we are doing on the 58 with out our body man looking over our shoulder. We were told to make left side to match right side, so here are a few pictuers hoping we did OK. We then tried our luck at shaving off the lip on firewall. Here is a few new pictures.

Have you tackled the top of the cab around the windshield? I see on previous pics it was rusted pretty good. I have a 59 in the same shape and am keenly interested how you will tackle that. Thanks

This thread is inspiring us to get started on my son's 59 Apache. Thanks for all the time to share pics and your approach. When you get a minute, I would like to know the sheet metal parts manufacture. We will not make the fast time you guys have, but then we are pretty green with regards to a resto at this level. Thanks again

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project

By the way, I see the cab sitting on metal supports. Is that a home brew jig to ensure the cab mounts stay aligned when you bolt it to the frame?

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project

Very interested in the front part by the windshield.

Am I correct you took off the drip rail on the back and filled in the area? If so, does that mean there will be no drip on the back or am I seeing this wrong?

Sorry for all the questions?

btw, GREAT WORK

Re: T-Man's 58 Apache project

When we do the windshield we will post as many pictures as we can. When we are done there will be no drip rail on sides or back. Glad to help any way we can.
