New member/old owner
Just thought I would post and introduce myself.
Been a chevy guy for long time. Restored a 62 nova convert when I was 13 with my dad, then did a 63 nova hardtop when I was 15 for my first car. (still in garage, 36k since restoration). Along the way bought a 67 camaro, and GMC typhoon. One of the first cars I learned to drive on was my dad's '68 gmc BBC, factory bucket seat Longbed. (pics included) He bought it in 70, and has had it since. Still has original wood bed, but was recently sprayed with rhino lining. Over the few years, I have had a 67 1 ton flatbed, and 70 Chevy, both were not much to speak of. Recently I just bought a 70 GMC stepside. I think this one may be a keeper. I have already played with what wheels to put on it, as seen in pic below. http://www.nwstp.com/jeff/68GMC.jpg http://www.nwstp.com/jeff/68side.jpg http://www.nwstp.com/jeff/Rhino.jpg http://www.nwstp.com/jeff/zr1s.jpg ------------------ Jeff Scott '70 GMC Stepside, Short box '67 Camaro '63 Nova '92 GMC typhoon [This message has been edited by ty1295 (edited March 20, 2002).] |

I like the Impalla SS rims...they wouldn't be a slam dunk though...back spacing troubles. I think they are 16's?

Nothing, just sprayed with Rhino. Has factory wood under it. Truck has had a canopy on it 99% of it's life, so wood has stayed in good condition. The Rhino is thick enough to flatten it out most of the way..
