My wife was due on the 7th as well but things worked out a little different. Ours was born on the 3rd and we are getting discharged today to go home but little man has to stick around for a couple more days to get some extra care. Good luck with yours and hope everything goes well with wifey and the little one. Congrats!!!

I'm a salvage dealer, it was at one of the auctions I frequent. I'm actually considering buying a lot more of them and parting them out. Congrats to you too, hope everything is well.

I was going nuts trying to find a way to look at the crank sensor connector to determine if I had a 24x or a 58x reluctor/ecu. Then I remembered I impulse bought a cheap boroscope on woot a couple of years ago.

Sounds like a knock off superhero. SECURITY MAN!

Not exactly stunning HD, but I'm still pretty sure that's a black connector, meaning I have a 24x reluctor. Now I can go to the hospital and maybe acquire a child and an engine harness and ECU on the same day :D

Hope all goes/went well at the hospital.

Why not rework the oem suburban harness and use the stock PCM? If not, look at the MS3 Gold box on efisource.com.

I'm considering this. I think that's the way I'm going to go so that I don't have to deal with a separate transmission controller.

Inducing labor tomorrow morning at 7:45am, should have plenty of time to read up on it in the next few days, lol.

I ordered the motor/transmission/ecu/harness from LSX4U.com Came already programed and the harness re-worked. I noticed they are starting to branch out into turbocharging and they may have some options for you.

Good luck and let me know if you need anything else.
Following your build and loving it!
And congratulations on the new baby!

Check out lt1swap.com too. I used the info from there on my first swap and it worked great. Fired it up first try. Plenty of info on reworking the stock harness and a good price to get the PCM reflashed to do away with the VATS and other non-essential items.

Thanks everyone! They're both doing fine. I'm going to start on my swap in a couple of weeks, time permitting.

Picked up some TBSS manifolds from another forum member.

I'm gonna try and get the engine out of the donor in the next few weeks. I need to brush up on cams. I might as well do a turbo friendly cam while the engine is out. Also gonna do head gaskets, valve springs, and probably studs. Looks like my work time on it is going to be pretty limited for the next few weeks so I figure I might as well keep collecting parts.

Totes, I'll be at the track this weekend, I just need someone riding underwood to continually replenish the leaky TH350. :D

Kinda been doing the new baby thing, so no real progress, but I am continuing to collect parts.

Now to go order a 400lph walbro pump and the corvette filter/regular and make myself some fuel lines.
