Hey guys I'm fairly new to this board. I've been lurking for a while and decided to start getting in on conversation. I live in San Diego, CA and purchased my 1972 Chevrolet Blazer a few months ago. Here's some pics of the hooptee.

It doesn't look like much but it's mechanically sound and pretty darn rust free. There's just a tiny but in the usual rocker area. The top is as always in rough shape and the hatch has a big crack by the hinge. I'm currently mulling several different directions I want to go with it ie complete frame off with LS1/4l60e, Multi-Link Suspension and axle upgrades or just a frame on job with a lift kit and maybe a 700R swap. Well guys thanks for contributing to this awesome site as it's already helped me find leads on a number parts I need. I look forward to the input you guys and gals can provide.

Thanks
James

Welcome aboard from the Pacific Northwest. You have a good looking Blazer there. It looks like it is in about the same shape as my truck but you have loftier plans than I do. Mine probably won't change much for many years to come.

No way man you have a sweet rig. When I decided to get back into the K5 thing(had one in high school) I used your truck as a template. It's nice but not ruined too much by somebody else's vision. You know what I mean? And those are just ideas, nothing set in stone. I'll probably do the cheaper fix as I'm not quite sure if I'll be happy with a non AC rig. I'd hate to dump all of that money into and then find out I'm not satisfied. We'll see though.

Thanks for the reply
James
