Your welcome. I buy them bulk, so about a box of 5000 when I get them.

+1 on the above!! VERY NICE LOOKING!!!! curious... would share a rounded up rough cost for the result? I am guessing it is more than a set of buckets from a third party vendor or a yard, but the result is much nicer too!!!

great job!! looks terrrific!

Approximate cost:
Seats and console $800
Seat brackets and welding $400
Seat covers $360
Restore console $100
I think the 75-77 Blazer buckets are the best looking buckets GM ever made which is why I bought this style.
Seems like now they are even harder to find than the 69-72 style buckets.
Also wanted the Dark Blue paint combo with dark saddle seats, reminds me of the 73 Cutlass Supreme I bought new in 73.

And THANK YOU for the nice comments

I agree. And the dwindling number of 69-72 buckets has contributed to the dwindling number of 73-77 buckets as guys will modify the frames to convert to 69-72 style. I’m so glad I got my five pairs when I did

Re: BUCKET SEATS in a 1984 ??

This thread just helped me tremendously. I have truck buckets from a '75 going into a '75 that all need restoration. And I'm putting them into a cab with a whole new high hump floor, so this thread has me double-checking everything for fit. I'm hopeful that I have everything needed, especially the L shaped brackets that apparently weren't needed on the 73-74 low backs but are needed for the 75-77. Either way, hooverfish, your set-up turned out great and I'm pumped to restore my seats/console. I had just messaged USA1 about long wait times and it appears that is still the case. Yikes.

I'm trying to build a truck in 90 days to drive to Dino's. Oh well, I'll sort something out. :)

Nice job, everything looks great! Just curious, could these have been bolted on?

Some people did bolt them in but access to the bottom side can be difficult if there is a fuel tank in the way.

You still need the center perches for support which need to be welded in place otherwise the seats won’t be level and will sink towards the middle
