Largest tire/wheels on a stock ride height 72 K5

I have a 72 Blazer 4wd with a 4 inch susp lift. I want to remove it and return to the stock ride height. What is the largest rim/tire combo I can use. I'm thinking about using 15" Chev truck rally rims. I'm guessing that 32" x 11.5 on 15's would be the largest. What are you stock susp guys running?

When I bought my Blazer it had 33x12.50x15 (pretty sure they were 15x10 wagon wheels with maybe 3.5" BS) and they worked fine on stock worn out suspension.

Backspacing and how worn out the springs will play into what you can run.

I would stick with the 32's to be safe.

I think the blue blazer I am building has 33s on it right now [but I would have to check to be certain] with stock suspension.

I've always heard that 33's will fit on a stock ride, but keep in mind, the actual tire diameter may be different than the size. I've seen 35" that are closer to 33" tall and some closer to 37" tall.

You can run 33 X 12.50s as long as you don't twist up the suspension on the trails. 33s will rub with a 4 inch lift if you flex the suspension close to maximum.

This Blazer won't be offroading, at least not bad enough to worry about twisting. Do GM truck rally rims come in a variety of offsets or are they all the same?

33/12.50 on the Jimmy. I don't do any off roading either.

I run 33 x 10.5's (BFG all terrains) on ours with a 15 x 8 aluminum wheel and it's just fine with stock ride height on original suspension.
We do some mild trail riding around the mountains here, but I generally don't care to take the truck anywhere it might bottom out or scrape, so we stick to the mild stuff. It's 99% a daily driver though.
Never had an issue with rubbing.

Some time ago I ran 31x10.50 on stock rallys with a saggy old suspension on mine. There was no issue. With a 4" lift now, it has 305 -70/16. BTW, where are you located? Cheers.

Lift is front springs with rear blocks. I'm not going to use them anymore so ill be selling but it will be a couple of months before I get them out. If your interested I can keep it in mind.

So it looks like quite a few people are running 33's on stock suspension. I'm looking for pics of stock suspension rides running GM truck rally rims. If anyone could post that would be great. Cheers.

Looks great! Are the rims 8 or 10 inch wide? Like the color too, is that the factory bronze?

Here are a couple of mine, out on the trail and at home. Not factory ralley's but same or similar offsets.
I actually plan to locate a set of factory steel wheels (dog dish hubcap style) in 15 x 8's and paint them white for a different look. Hope this helps.

How do you remove a 4 inch lift! Just buy stock leaf springs and shocks? I have a 1972 blazer that is lift which I want to return to stoc height. Any help is appreciated.
