Re: Front shock question
The front stock location is too low and requires running a really short shock, or makes most shocks bottom out, limiting your aired out height.
We carry the PB ones in stock for use in your style setup. http://www.azproperformance.com/Port...63-87-C10.html http://www.azproperformance.com/images/P/IMG_4362.jpg |

Re: Front shock question
well bagged1972, from the pics you've posted, you front cross member is touching the floor. I don't think you can get any lower than that. I thought about cupping my lower control arms but I'm going to install my 3 inch belltech drop spindle first. do you have any pics of how you cupped the lower control arms? if I decide to cup my control arms, I'm going to hit you up the how-to.

Haha I'm at a standstill now I sent the frame off for sandblasting and paint the other day but I should have it back by the first of next week and then I can get it all back together.

Re: Front shock question
well at this time the pan hard bar is off. the pan hard bar you see in the pic is a modified version of stock pan hard bar after the step notch was welded in. at this time, im collecting parts to make my own, custom pan hard bar. by my measurements, its going to be approx. 40 inches long. I also I have to customize and make my rear shock mounts. when I first started this endeavor, I knew nothing of how to set up an air bag suspension. YouTube and the help of 67-72 Chevy trucks has brought me this far. all I have to do is install my front bags, front shocks, shock relocaters, belltech spindles, plumb my air lines, and the air bag suspension is complete. the wiring, and gauges are also complete. im going to be watching you bagged1972.

Re: Front shock question
Lq4/TH400. #217 heads ported, mild camshaft, chromoly push rods, bee hive springs. The th400 has a shift kit with a 2400 stall. I've used three different engine combinations since I had this truck. First I tried the carbed version of the lq4. Then I went fi drive by cable, now it's fi, drive by wire. Check out my suspension thread" how low can I go". It speaks about me starting from the bottom to get where I am now. Trust me, I'll be checking your thread.
