Stepside chain location

I want to install the chains for my tailgate. The bedsides were done by the PO and they do not have holes for the chains. Can anyone please tell me where the hole for the chain is located, ie; how far down from the bed side rail and how far out from the bed side?

4 & 9/16" down and 2" out according to mu unrestored 69 C-10
