Drill doctor: Drill bit sharpener
Worth its weight in gold if you ask me. I had a whole drawer full of old dull bits. I usually use the bench grinder to sharpen them, but I was sharpening them off center. I bought one of these sharpeners and I now have a entire drawer full of extremely sharp drill bits. I would thrown them away if it wasn't for this sharpener. I recommend one to everyone that complains about never having a sharp drill bit. I sharpened about 200+ drill bits in about an hour.:)

Have a link, product info, cost?

I have used one a few times with great results also.
http://www.drilldoctor.com/ They can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowes, Sears and I think even Wal-Mart. This is the cheapest one: http://www.drilldoctor.com/store/ima...PHANOUS_lg.jpg |
Whats with the drill in the pic.....looks like its being used to run the unit....
Mine just plugs in........ |
You can get them either way. If you use the drill to run it, its a cheaper unit and portable (for use in field).
|
and if you use the drill to power it then you have sharp bits and a rundown drill out in the field !!!
you have to check around on these cause they do have different models(quality) but they do all work good at makin sharp bits |

After these positive reviews I bought the DD400. For a limited time this unit comes with the larger bit holder free. In addition, until April 15th there is a mail-in rebate for a $20 Home Depot gift card. This is the best bit sharpener I have ever found. The split point feature is an excellent feature too.
