Trade - my new gauge bezel for your old one

I have a '68 gauge bezel I've ordered from Classic Industries....and would really prefer a used functional 1968 bezel, with all the mounting points still 100% in tact and no extra holes drilled for switches etc.

The inside of my truck has nice aged patina but all 6 mounting points are broken out, like someone just yanked it off the dash. I really don't want a nice shiny perfect bezel - it just looks odd.

I send you my new one, you send me your old one.

Must be in good overall condition and have Headlights & Wipers on the left side, Choke on the right side. If interested, post a couple photos.

I have an original '68 bezel that's the style that is meant to be used with one of those GM choke deletes, so it doesn't have the CHOKE label. The two mounting screw holes on the left and right edges each have the typical crack from overtightening the screws. If interested, I can post some photos next week.

I appreciate the offer….could you post a couple pics? I have a Choke “tab” that you put behind the stainless trim ring. How bad are the cracked holes for the mounting screws? Just cracked and maybe can be glued to help hold them….or totally punched clean out?

If I remember correctly, they are hairline cracks that could be repaired with epoxy. I will take some photos Monday night or Tuesday.

I also have this gauge cluster bezel that I attempted to paint silver on the edges, but the paint seeped under the masking tape. I used lacquer thinner to remove the excess paint, but it made the black plastic glossy.

Either works for me - I think I’d prefer the one with the best mounting points, and legibility of words.

Why don’t we pick this up in PM’s…I’ll reach out.
