I sure will, just by quick glance it's pretty detailed. I like how there is an individual bag for each part.

Here's a little better view.

Re: 52 pickup 77 frame 454bbc
The bolt kit is sweet. Which kit is it? I'm looking at their PDF and I'm not sure which one it is. Thanks.

Re: 52 pickup 77 frame 454bbc
3 in a row. Wish I could do that. Good progress.

More progress. Got the rest of the rusty/weak metal cut out of the way on the cab's passenger side floor area. Sanded and treated the surface rust in the cab mount and started welding in the floor panel.

Good job, coming along nicely!!

Great build! They are always better when you build them yourself.

Re: 52 pickup 77 frame 454bbc
Over 2 years later. Still working on it, slowly but surely.

Re: 52 pickup 77 frame 454bbc
umm, if I could give a suggestion, I would say get a door on the opening and ensure it closes and fits the cab ok. then brace the cab on the inside of the door in an X pattern so the opening cant change shape. then you can remove the door for easy access to the cowl repairs etc. wouldn't wanna see you do all that work and then the door doesn't fit after.

Re: 52 pickup 77 frame 454bbc
Thanks Dsraven, good point. I kept taking the doors off and on while checking the gaps.

More interior cab work. Using all metal aluminum filler to fill in the welds.

More filler on interior cab. I’m not crazy on how the all metal filler spreads and trying to get the right amount of hardener before it dries. I do think it will help seal any pin holes.

Putting some filler on the firewall. Trying a bondo product instead of the all metal. So far I like it better. It spreads nicer and I like the cream hardener changes the color when mixed.

Re: 52 pickup 77 frame 454bbc
Hi. I just stumbled across this build. Great work! I hope you have made more progress.
I just picked up a project 51 pickup and it is on a 77 C10 frame. I think they were doing a decent job so may just keep it as is. Keep up the good work. Eric |
